From the Star Tribune this morning 2/13/97
Gophers freshman defenseman Ben Clymer has been diagnosed with vertigo
and will be out indefinitely, according to the team.
Clymer had been complaining of dizziness and balance problems for more
than a week and was thought to have a virus or inner-ear infection.
Team doctors could not determine a cause and sent him to a specialist
Woog was quoted as saying: "It was unkind news, and (Clymer) felt very,
very bad about it. He's an important part of our team; he's a big,
strong guy who's provided offense, and we'll miss him on both a
regular shift and on special teams. It's a big hole to fill."
Get well real soon Ben!
