A guest lecturer today from UMinn, but born, raised and educated in southern
Calif on adapting to his first year in Minn. *They don't actually have
summers, just a time of the year when there is two months of bad skating*

Full support for Mike's views on names on hockey jerseys. Coaches who don't
allow it are probably not helping the game. Names help the *average* fan
identify players with positions, particular skills, and shifts on the ice.
Ever since we went to full helmets and facemasks, it has been more difficult
to quickly identify players associated with the action around the puck. If we
could get the NC$$ a kickback of a buck a name, they'd probably require it.
