I think it's just a screw-up by the reporters. My local paper
reported the same. They added that Notre Dame was currently
in a league (forget its name, not the CCHA) for all sports
but basketball and football.
 
I think hockey is falling thru the cracks (surprise, surprise)
in the reporting.
 
It is not one of the major sports, but it also does not get
lumped into the non-revenues of swimming, track, etal.
 
I suspect their will be NO CHANGE for hockey. The reporters are
just too ignorant to get their facts straight. Nowadays, whenever
I read about ND sports, I automatically add in an "except hockey"
because it never seems to fit in with the other sports.
