Well then, sounds like it is time for the Harvard coach to make some
adjustments. If he advanced/promoted a particular system then he out
to know how to beat it.
 
A couple of years ago I attended a USA Hockey Advanced Coaching Clinic
which featured presentations during the week by Red Berenson, Bob
Mancini (when he was with Western Mich.), and Jeff Jackson, as well
as Rick Comley. That's several coaches from one conference.
 
Yes, valuable information on a coach's systems was disseminated at the
clinic, and I remember wondering at the time why these coaches would
divulge this knowledge with their arch-rivals present. In fact, I
recall Jackson joked how he had learned something new and took notes.
 
Anyways, these clinics assist in the advancement of amateur hockey--a
tribute to college coaches (some of most dynamic minds of the game at
the amateur level) who participate. Well-worth every $ I spent.
