...and visions of score outs danced in Spartan-heads.
 
I guess one can expect this kind of mentality from a fan whose team's
offense resembles crapshoot. I would tend to think that a team such as
MSU has a team defense concept capable of "shutting down" a team like
Michigan rather than wishing for a "scored out" consequence.
 
Anyways when a team like Michigan has so many PP opportunities it's kind
of hard not to light up the net. What? In the sweep over UIC, they were
4 for 7, and 3 for 15 on the PP? And from what I saw, Michigan didn't
even look all that sharp on the PP. (It was kind of amusing though to
see Wiseman have to defend a 2 on 1 situation while on the PP. Yikes!)
 
When will opponents learn that you don't beat Michigan by sending your
guys to the sin bin all night long? As it is playing them even-strength,
it is hard to out-man the Wolverines.
