Well, as a member of RPI's Pep Band, I think the reason why Cornell's
band was not allowed to play was because we were still on break.  It
wouldn't have been to much fun to have a battle of the bands if on;y
one was there - and the opposing team's band at that!  I was at that game
and recall that there were only a handful of band members there.  Not
enough to play, and surely not enough to win in a contest of bands.  I
hope this clears up the confusion.
