I believe that the Cornell band was not invited, for the reason that was
stated earlier.  The RPI pep band was not going to be in great attendance, for
it was the middle of our Christmas break ( game was on Jan. 4 ) so, they felt
it would be inappropriate to have a visitors' band present while our own
was not there.
Most other times, if the opposing teams' band wants to come to the game, and
there are tickets available, they do.
