FWIW, the NCAA Division I goal scoring leader's stick is ramrod straight.
Kris Porter's stick is wedged--like a golf wedge.
 
I saw an interesting stick strategy Sunday at the NU at Merrimack game.
In the waning seconds (7) there was a face-off to the Robitaille's left.
Stringer skates to the bench and grabs the 'white tape' stick, only
subtly calling attention to the act. Crowder calls timeout. No stick
check. He got spooked. At the end of the timeout Stringer comes out with
the 'black tape' stick. Stringer wins the faceoff and Merrimack got off a
quality shot. Verrrry interesting. I have NO idea what was going on, but
it was interesting nonetheless.
