Let's not bicker and argue...
 
It's a simple fact that most every team in the ECAC does some clutching
and grabbing at times.  I've seen both Brown and Princeton: Princeton at
Lynah / Brown at Meehan.  Although I find the tactics of any team that we
play against distasteful :), I found neither Brown's nor Princeton's
tactics very much out of the ordinary.  Sure, there was some clutch and
grab, but it was from all the teams, i.e. Brown, Princeton, AND Cornell.
 
I mean, really now, who wouldn't expect a member of their own team to do
a little bit of holding to start an odd-man break.  Hmmm?  If the ref
doesn't call it, is it wrong?  Yes.  Is it within the rules? No.  Did it
help your team?  Yes.  Did it cause an unfair advantage?  In the short
run, yes, but in the long run, no, since both teams do it.

p.s.  Now Brown's chippiness when we were at Meehan is another thing.  Of
course, I'm sure that Cornell's own players had nothing to do with it... :)
