Boston College will play in the Beanpot final next Monday night while also
securing a HockeyEast league win and positioning themselves nicely for the
challenge to gain home-ice during the first round playoffs.

Chris Masters scored a quirk goal at 7:09 of the third to break a 1-1 tie.
Northeastern freshman goalie Marc Robitaille went behind the net to help move a
puck along the boards when Masters intercepted it in the corner, about three feet
off the goal line. His shot beat the angle for an unassisted score.

Freshman Jeff Farkas made it 3-1 at 11:39 after grabbing a Blake Bellefeuille
cross-ice pass and beating Robitaille.

Some skirmishes could result in some game suspensions ... not sure from the calls
made. B.C.'s David Wainwright will definitely miss the next game. B.C.'s Mulhern
and Northeastern's Mahoney may very well miss the next game for their teams.
B.C. plays a crucial league game on Friday vs. Providence.

Kevin Caulfield put a rebound past Robitaille for the final tally after the
freshman goalie had stoned Farkas on a breakaway.

Marty Reasoner had scored B.C.'s first goal. Shots in the third period were
16-to-8 for BC and 33-to-23 for the game.
