here it comes again.
There are three categories of Division I hockey programs
A) Those schools that play fewer than 20 division 1 contests and
are hence ineligible for the tournament

B) Those schools that play 20 or more division 1 contests and are
hence eligible for the tournament. Fewer than 20 of their
contests are with teams eligible for the tournament. But so
    what?

C) Those schools that play 20 or more division 1 contests and are
hence eligible for the tournament. At least 20 of their
    contests are with eligible teams.

Once eligibility for the tournament is determined, which games are
used to calculate all the myriad and sundry statistics?
A vs A no, neither team eligible
A vs B no, a team not eligible
A vs C no, a team not eligible
B vs B yes, both teams eligible
B vs C yes, both teams eligible
C vs C yes, both teams eligible

is that clear???

more importantly, is it correct????

as a matter of practicality, the B teams will not have impressive
enough statistics to be chosen for the tournament.
