Chris Marvel, Alaska Fairbanks freshman goaltender, besides stopping 36
of 38 shots in getting the win over Michigan State, also picked up his
third assist in less than 3 full games.

Anyone know what he'll need to match or break the NCAA record for
assists in a season by a goaltender? What other goalies in Division I
this year are able to contribute in that way? It certainly has a
noticeable impact to have a goalie able to pass the puck. He's also one
of the fastest skating goalies I've ever seen.
