There has been some talk about Mankato possibly moving to
Division I. The school's latest press release  lists a tentative 32-game
schedule for next year that indicates no movement yet.
        Of interest are 4 games againt Bemidji State early in the season.
The schools didn't play each other this year and Mankato never seemed to
be in the running for one of the Division II championship berths.
        If the tentative schedule holds, Mankato will play 4 games
against Air Force and 4 more against Alabama-Huntsville, with the
rest against MIAC and NCHA teams.
