defeating Northern Michigan 5-1 for a 2-1 edge in the best-of-3
first-round playoff series.
Wisconsin, which defeated Northern Michigan 5-4 in the second
game of the series after losing the opener 4-3, joined Minnesota,
North Dakota, Colorado College and Denver in the Final Five.
The action resumes Thursday night when Minnesota meets North
Dakota. Wisconsin goes against Denver in the first game on Friday,
with the Minnesota-North Dakota winner taking on Colorado College
in the second game.
The third place and championship games will be played Saturday.

period on goals by Erik Raygor, Mike Strobel, Shawn Carter, Brad
Englehart and Max Williams.
