I was sorry to read that the injury to Vermont player Jason Reid appears
to be more serious than I had heard. The news circulating in the Brown
Hockey Association Room between the first and the second periods of
the Brown-Dartmouth game was that Reid only had back spams. Many
of us were concerned because he had left the ice motionless and on
a stretcher.
 
Has the information that Reid broke a vertebra been confirmed? Will he
definitely be unable to play next year?
