         Wisconsin coach Jeff Sauer became the 7th coach to win 500 career
college hockey games in a 3-1 win over Alaska-Anchorage.  Wisconsin goals
were scored by:  Rick Enrico (3), Joe Bianchi sh (5), and Mark Strobel pp
(4).  The lone UAA goal was scored by Glen Thornborough on a shorthanded
breakaway.  Wisconsin goalie Kirk Daubenspeck, who has apparently broken out
of his slump since the Showdown, came up with 43 saves to steal one for the
Badgers.  More updates in the morning.
