I too was at the Fleece Center on Thursday and very much looking forward to
the main event later today. I am one homer, very loyal to Maine, that
always roots for Hockey East Schools over others (with the usual exemption
for BU of course). I am very impressed with the BC team and their fans and
have been rooting for them ever since they beat us in the Hockey East finals.

My biggest fear would have been an all CCHA final today! A win for BC
today is a win for Hockey East and all other Hockey East Schools and
validates the competitive nature of our league.

I felt bad for UNH fans that were walking arround with their heads down
after the 1st game. I had one that sat next to me that apologized for his
teams performance and for being their instead of Maine? He also told me
that the fish was in the arena and ready for action, if they could have
scored at least 1 goal.

Go BC beat Michigan!

Go Black Bears!

Go Hockey East!
