For all those purists out there: Dave Paradise scored a natural hat trick
as St. Cloud State beat Minnesota-Duluth 8-2 on Sat. night.  He scored at
19:27 of the first, and then 4:58 and 7:27 of the second, the last three
goals of SCS's 5 unanswered to start the game.
 
Another WCHA note: Why is Michgan Tech doing so badly these days?  Well,
for a clue, look at the box for Saturday's tie against Denver, where
Jamie Ram had to face 51 shots on goal.  He really should sue his defense
for lack of support..... (The DU goalie Mullin had 28 shots on him)
