FRESHMAN LEAVES VERMONT UNDER DWI CLOUD

Vermont freshman Mike Atkinson, who has spent this entire season under 
team suspension, has withdrawn from school following his arrest on 
driving while intoxicated charges.

Atkinson was involved in a car crash on the Vermont campus on Oct. 2. 
He was arrested for DWI and careless driving. He was suspended 
indefinitely at the time. With the arraignment pending, Atkinson
decided to 
withdraw from school.
