There is already a compensatory mechanism which balances the interests of
students at rigorous and non-rigorous institutions.  This mechanism (like
almost everything else) even has its own cheer at Lynah, which begins,
"That's alright, that's okay...".
 
Just drop the puck.  Does anyone, *anyone* out there think Cornell will
actually beat Union College: (1) this weekend, (2) this decade, (3) before
this needlessly divisive, stupid, unattractive and unproductive thread
peters out...?
