I have tried to organize a hockey game for people on the Detroit Red Wings
listserv, but only have somewhere around 10 players, so I'm now recruiting
from Hockey-L. This message is for anyone interested in playing a game at the
Yost Ice Arena in Ann Arbor, Michigan on Tuesday, March 4, from 9:30 - 10:20
pm. Cost is $125, to be divided up among participants. I would like to have
20 players total; 10 per team. All players must wear helmets with face masks
(Yost rule).

Format: 3 minute warm-up, 3 fifteen minute running-time periods, 1 minute
break between each period. No referees. No checking. Penalties called on
the honor system. With the variability of playing skills expected to be quite
large, each player may only score once per period.

Teams: Wings-L vs. Hockey-L ??

I can find goalers, if there are none on this list interested in playing.
Players of all abilities (and genders) are welcome.

Send me a message if you are interested in playing. Spectators are welcome.
