Fwiw...as a (Mid)Westerner, I prefer the use of UMass-
Amherst and UMass-Lowell (rather than UMass and
UMass-Lowell or simply Lowell).  I will probably refer
to them in this manner unless there's a unanimous
resolution, although I will *try* to use "UMass" if this
is what those at UMA prefer.  Putting myself in their
shoes, I'd HATE to see my alma mater called UM-
Ann Arbor.
