The CCHA does plus/minus like the NHL.
If a power play goal is scored nobody receives a plus (or a minus if you were
shorthanded).
However, if a shorthanded goal is scored those four (or three) skaters each
receive a plus, while everyone on the power play unit receives a minus.
Every goal scored counts except for a power play goal. For instance, if a
goalie is pulled late in the game (or on a delayed penalty) and a goal is
scored the people on the ice for each team is equal so it counts.
The one thing I heard from an NHL person (I wish I could remember who), that if
a person scores a penalty shot goal that person is credited with a plus.

Could someone please answer for me wether or not an individual on the ice
during a power play/penalty kill situation is credited with a +/- if a
goal is scored? Thanks in advance.
