This work is a follow-up to problems discovered Thursday morning.

A work-around configuration change for a software interop issue between different generations of network switches (some spanning 10+ years in age difference) will be applied to switches campus-wide.  

The change is not expected to be service affecting but based on platform a brief loss of connectivity is possible for some switches.

This change will not affect connectivity to the Orono Data Center.

Maintenance should be completed by 7:00 AM but we have scheduled this window until 10:00 AM in the event there are any problems.
