Isn't this the kid who broke the prep/high school scoring records once
held by ??? (damn, his name escapes me - went to LSSU), and who then had
a hard time being taken seriously by the DivI schools ?? I'd heard that
Walsh was under some pressure to give this local kid a shot, but that he
wasn't all that impressive in practices/scrimmages last season and was
red-shirted (not that many freshmen would have broken in ahead of Kariya
and the Ferraro twins :-) So what do the Maine folks think ?? Will he
get an honest chance to prove himself this season ?? Can he make a
contribution ??
Curious beside the Chesapeake - Jim
