Yes, Dan committed to Minnesota in the early signing period, as did
"Mr. Hockey" Nick Checco, and Hilman from Blaine (Josh??, his brother is
a frosh here this year, so I get the names mixed up).

And while I'm at it, Checco is the 6th consecutive Mr. Hockey to attend
Minnesota. Here are the past winners:

        1985 Tom Chorske Mpls. Southwest
        1986 George Pelawa Bemidji
        1987 Kris Miller Greenway
        1988 Larry Olimb Warroad
        1989 Trent Klatt Osseo
        1990 Joe Dziedzic Mpls. Edison
        1991 Darby Hendrickson Richfield
1992 Brian Bonin White Bear Lake
        1993 Nick Checco Bloomington Jefferson
The only winners not to attend Minnesota were Miller and Pelawa.
