We're talking about a backup, walk-on goaltender that has made what, 11
total appearances in his career and as a record of 2-1-1.
Seems to me the only potential "loss" factor to the team here would be that
if he was a real emotional, inspiring player for the rest of the team; if
that were indeed the case, and as Woog said in the article "he's been a
great friend" then I can't imagine he'd be quitting.
I guess maybe it's just a big shock to see that someone would actually quit
the Gopher squad, even a bench rider...
