The only problem with your logic is that Clarkson stopped caring about
tradition long ago.
At ont time we were CCT ( that is what is on both my diplomas) and we
were the ONLY CCT. Today we are just one of too many CU's (Cornell,
Colgate, Columbia etc. etc. etc). The change was marketing based and
threw tradition to the wind.
Seems MIT, IIT, CIT and other "Techs" had sufficient pride and self worth
to compete for a student population based on their reputation and
histories and traditions.
Too bad CCT didn't.
