Well, I don't have my rule book handy...but I believe that fighting is
defined as: "a punch or any attempt to punch an opponent" (if this is
wrong, please quote the exact verse for us please).
So, we get into how the leagues "interpret" what a punch is, and so forth.
I'm happy that the league is getting serious about penalizing fighting,
but suspending a player for the season for the third offense is a bit
much.
