After receiving a friendly little tap on the shoulder (actually, a pretty neat
feat since we're about 700-800 miles apart) from a very reliable source :-),
I need to make two minor corrections to the Guppie (well, one correction and
one acknowledgment). First, the acknowledgement:
1) I was informed that it was actually Keith and not Bill who invented the
term "Tadpoll." Since my only exposure to it had been through Bill's H-L
poll, I had assumed that he invented it. My apologies to Keith. So, let's
acknowledge Keith as the inventor and Bill as one who carries the term to
the huddled masses.
2) I was also informed that Greg, in writing the TBRW? preview, also wrote the
ECAC preview for Blue Ice. (To show you how brain-dead I've been, I didn't
even notice the rankings were the same, and if there's something I should
have learned by running this contest, it's that NO two people ever rate all
twelve teams in the ECAC the same.)
So, not wanting to count one poll twice, we'll just use the DTP, THN, BI,
and McP ratings as well as the contest consensus to come up with the new
ECAC Guppie:
