Rumors of our death have been greatly exaggerated. :-)  The rest of the CCHA's
JV players need not worry about competing with our displaced varsity skaters
just yet according to Sports Info here.  No one I talked to had heard anything
about terminating the OSU program, and the kind of looks I got from them upon
mentioning it suggested to me that it is not something anyone is even
discussing.  Although OSU hockey gets little coverage, I knew I hadn't seen
anything to that effect in the media, and I know that they would cover the
elimination of the program, so I was pretty sure it wasn't true anyway.
(Although I have to admit I would not have been surprised if it were true.)
 
Just goes to show that anything can get started by Michigan people when it
comes to Ohio State. :-)
