Northeastern defeated previously unbeaten New Hampshire to remain at the
top of the table. Dartmouth and Cornell tied in their rematch which means
things are starting to look tight in both the ECAC and Ivy Leagues.
Harvard and Providence came up with big wins that indicate we just about
know who the eight play-off teams will be. The order of finish is wide
open.
The Women's Beanpot starts this Tuesday with the big match being the late
game between host Harvard and Boston College. UNH and Colby play the
first contest in their travel partner series the same evening.
Next weekend finds Colby and UNH visiting Dartmouth and BC. The Wildcats
- Big Green affair is a key battle because both teams are having excellent
seasons and are fighting NU for first place. Brown hosts Harvard in a key
Ivy match. If Bruno wants to repeat as Ivy Title holders, that could be a
significant meeting. Princeton and Yale travel to Cornell and St
Lawrence. Cornell needs those Ivy points, and a home sweep would also set
them right in ECAC League table possibly forging ahead of Brown for the
final home ice slot. The St Lawrence - Princeton contest is extremely
important for the Saints.
