If such things affect the outcome of the game, generally the proper
recourse after the fact is an appeal from the coach to the league's
governing body.  Luckily, in this case, Cornell goalie Jason Elliott was
able to reason with referree Doiron, who had security people sent over to
the appropriate student section, and the incident may have bothered
Elliott, it didn't prevent Cornell from winning in overtime.
