But for SEPTA's Regional Rail (surface commuter trains, including from
the airport to center city) Senior Citizens pay $1.00, also on the
strength of flashing a Medicare card. Also be aware there is generally
an additional charge for waiting to buy the ticket on the train from the
conductor instead of buying it before boarding (not sure if that applies
to Sr Citizens.) The train from the Airport to 30th St Station runs
every half hour from 5AM to midnight and takes about 20 minutes to 30th
St Station, 35 minutes to Temple Univ.
