The weather forecast for Washington DC looks like:
Wed. high of 51, partly cloudy
Thu. high of 58, partly cloudy
Fri. high of 56, showers (40% chance)
Sat. high of 60, AM clouds, PM sun
Sun. high of 58, partly cloudy.
Not as warm as Anaheim, but I will take it. And certainly not as bad as the Frozen Four in Albany (the year Ryan Miller won the Hobey) when Friday was nothing but a freezing rain. Rather than go touring like we had in the past, we spent Friday in a mostly empty bar across from the arena (Knickerbockers?) setting up 10 empty beer cups and bowling them down with the waitresses. Actually, one of the most fun days I have ever had at the tournament (obviously I am easily amused).

Thought folks might appreciate this story about Miami's hockey program. I was there when they went to the Dixie Ice Bowl in Kentucky as the best nearby facility. Enjoy DC. Go RedHawks.
Frozen Four-bound Miami owes a debt to Devils defenseman Andy Greene
