Jason Krog deserves the consideration he is getting for the Hobey Baker
Award, but Derek Beckar might still be the best player in college hockey. I
know he has to be considered one of if not the best pro prospect in college
hockey. Nolan and Mowers are no slouches either. I feel guilty promoting
one over the other. I don't care if none of them gets the HB, I have enjoyed
watching the most unselfish, skillful, and powerful team that has ever
played here at UNH. I have nothing but respect for any team that can play
with them. I only wish the quality of officiating came closer to the quality
of play in hockey east. It has been atrocious.
