A playoff involving the four conference champions would be the most logical
way to do it.
 
But it wouldn't raise enough money, or generate enough interest. I don't
think there is a logical argument for allowing Boston University or Bowling
Green to win a naitonal title if they couldn't win their league.
 
(I won't complain too hard this year, of course)
