Subject: SketchUp & CAD Projects

I am looking for some help with my Tech Drawing class.  I presume a bunch of teachers around the state have created projects for students to do in Google SketchUp and/or CAD.  If you are willing, I would love for you to share your expectations, lesson plans, project expectations for such things as a dream house, floor plans, etc.

I just cannot see myself doing a good job generating and building project information for students while I am wearing so many hats.  I am especially looking for expectations for a culminating project such as a dream house in SketchUp.  Also I would like to know if anyone is asking students to create local buildings and uploading them to Google Earth.  I understand that it takes SketchUp Pro to upload to Google Earth.  I may buy a few licenses of SU Pro just so my students can publish to Google Earth.

Any other suggestions for activities would be welcomed.  Yes, I am begging for some help.  I am not caught up to the beginning of the year stuff yet.  This makes it difficult to find time to dream of things to properly utilize technology.
