The Maine State Library is pleased to announce a new partnership with Gizmo Garden to bring their programs to public libraries throughout Maine.
Gizmo Garden programs combine some element of artistic expression with electronic circuitry, robotics, and computer programming.
These programs address Maine's gender gap in computer science, which is markedly worse than the national average.
Chris Dorman, STEM Specialist, will be coordinating this program thanks to generous funding from Gizmo Garden.
Stay tuned for information from Chris about bringing a RoboPots program to your public library this summer or a new "Invisible Xylophone" program currently being tested this month.

We are very excited about extending the work Gizmo Garden has done at the Skidompha Library to public libraries across the state of Maine!
