Hi everyone,

Just sending a reminder to Register now for Read ME 2022<https://mainehumanities.formstack.com/forms/readme_registration_2022>!

Every summer, Read ME gets Maine adults all reading two books recommended by a well-known Maine author. This coming summer, recommending author Christina Baker Kline<https://christinabakerkline.com/> has chosen Sigh, Gone by Phuc Tran<https://www.phucskywalker.com/about> and Beneficence by Meredith Hall<https://meredithhall.org/>.

This year's program will kick-off on Friday, June 3rd, with a special episode of Maine Calling<https://www.mainepublic.org/show/maine-calling>-all about summer reading.

Offered in partnership with Maine State Library<https://www.maine.gov/msl/>, Read ME is structured to enable even the smallest, most rural libraries to participate. All that's required is a commitment to making each of the featured titles available to their patrons.

Program goals:
* Connect Maine's adult reading community through shared reading experiences
* Support libraries in their work to provide quality adult summer reading initiatives
*       Elevate upcoming Maine Authors
We hope you will be joining us this summer for this statewide reading experience.
