Library Assistant

The Vassalboro Public Library is looking for an outgoing, people-oriented
person to work as a library assistant. Duties include assisting the Library
Director with circulation, shelving, book processing and cataloging as well
as assisting patrons. Additionally, the candidate should have computer
skills that will enable the use of the library automation system and word
processing as well as internet searching capabilities. Library experience
or similar transferrable skills are preferred. Minimum educational
requirement is a high school diploma or GED equivalent.

This is a part-time position that includes evenings and weekends.
