Hi, All,

I want to let you know that author Richard Rubin spoke at Curtis last night about his new book Back Over There, which details the author's explorations of WWI from the French side. His talk is illustrated with fascinating slides showing the very visible traces of WWI in France today.

Many of you had him speak at your libraries when his other book, Last of the Doughboys was released. His new book explores the war from a French angle. WWI is much more prominent in the memory of the people over there. Rubin recounts his meetings with people who were eager to share what they knew with him.

With the author's permission I am sharing his contact information with you. E-mail: [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]> Website: richardrubinonline.com Facebook page: @RichardRubinAuthor
