As COE has always done in the past, COE is ready to take on the
challenge with the TRUMP Administration who announced last week that they
plan to eliminate the McNair Program and the Education Opportunity Centers.
Fair Share will help COE meet this new challenge.

June 30, 2017 is the end of the 2017 Fair Share Drive and there is still
time to help COE exceed it budgeted goal. Two regions (SWASAP and ASPIRE)
are already over 100% and three regions (NEOA, MEOPP WESTOP) are over 95%!
Nationwide COE is at 94%!  *Maine leads NEOA at 125% and nationally is #6
behind Palau (190%), Louisiana (143%), Wyoming (142%), Micronesia and
Delaware (both 132%).* Maine TRIO works!

I want to share with those institutions whose program membership expires
between July 1, 2017-December 31, 2017 who have not already paid, that the
$300 discount on the membership cost has been extended until June 15, 2017.
Now is the time to renew your institutional membership.
