Dear all,

I would like to announce the details regarding two Ezra Pound 
sessions the Ezra Pound Society has arranged for the 2009 MLA in 
Philadelphia. As well we invite proposals and suggestions for topics 
for the 2010 ALA conference.

A. The following 2009 MLA sessions have been organized by the Ezra 
Pound Society:

Session I: #581 (Tuesday, 29 December, 7:15-8:30 p.m., 304, 
Philadelphia Marriott)

Ideograms, Luminous Details or the Limbs of Osiris: Teaching Pound´s 
Poetry and Prose

1. Ira B. Nadel, Univ. of British Columbia: "Teaching Ezra Pound´s 
Jefferson: Poetry, Prose and Letters"

2. John R. O. Gery, Univ. of New Orleans: "´Out of Key with His

3. Demetres P. Tryphonopoulos, Univ. of New Brunswick: "´Observing 
the Elegance of Circe´s Hair´: Teaching Ezra Pounds Poetry of 
Allusion"

The Road to St Elizabeths: Pound's Correspondence with Mencken and 
MacLeish

B. The Ezra Pound Society plans to participate in the American 
Literature Association´s 21st Annual Conference (to take place in San 
Francisco, May 27-30, 2010) with two sessions. Those interested in 
suggesting topics and/or in presenting papers, should write to
