Could some one please tell me where I might purchase a copy of what ep
called "possibly the most beautiful book in our language"? I mean
Golding's translation of Ovid. I have tried various net sites
(Amazon.com, abebooks.com, plus a rare book dealer) to no avail.

For your information, the original title of the book is P. OVIDIUS NASO:
THE XV BOOKES ENTYTULED METAMORPHSIS. It was most recently published in
1965 by
Macmillan, ed. John Frederick Nims, and by the Univ. of Souther Illinois
in a volume called SHAKESPEARE'S OVID.

Thank you.
