Hello everyone! Over the summer, the Readfield Community Library auctioned
off quite a bit of old furniture, shelving, and other odds and ends (it
went quite well, too!). But as is bound to happen with these things, a few
of the items did not sell. Enough time has passed now that I figured it was
worth seeing if anyone out in library world would like any of these used
items for free. This includes two wire book shelves, and a small, metal
card catalog. Pictures are readily available to anyone that would like to
take them off of our hands. Just check the silent auction section of our
website- https://readfieldlibrary.wordpress.com/silent-auction/. These are
items 8, 12 and 14.
Here are the specifics if you don’t want to go to the website. We have…
A single sleeve card catalog made of metal- dimensions- w5” d 18” h6.5”
A sizable, freestanding wire book rack that doesn’t rotate. Dimensions-
w25” d25” h63”
A smaller, freestanding wire book rack that does rotate. Dimensions- w15”
d15” h57”
They’re all yours for completely free! That is, if you can make it to our
little library and move them down a flight of stairs. If you think that’s a
possibility, and want to set up a time, please let me know.
Again, check out the website for pictures, and reply to me off list if
you’re interested. We also have an old desk chair up there as well if
anyone wants it (item #5) before it gets sent to the transfer station.
