This is really not a library related subject, but one that many people
might be experiencing. In my home I have three grandkids who have been
using school issued Apple ipads for school and to accommodate remote
learning.

After several issues with the internet failing and/or working
slooooowww....., once again I called my providers Tech Support line. I
don't know why my previous calls to Tech Support did not generate this
info, but I think the problem is solved momentarily. Apparently, the*
Apple* *devices draw so much energy* that my internet strength could not
keep up. The support person on the other end said to disconnect the
internet in any device that is not being used. This step will (hopefully
(my word),) free up the amount of internet available for other devices.

For libraries who are more rural and have patrons who live in more rural
areas, this might be a helpful bit of information, as the internet strength
is often a bit weaker than in more populated areas.

Hope this helps.
