Good morning everyone,

As Reading Roundup is rapidly approaching I wanted to reach out with an
update on our author/illustrator awards. The pandemic has put financial
strains on everyone, and MLA has been no exception. Due to recent budget
cuts, there will be no Lupine or Katahdin Awards this year. We are happy to
announce, however, that a new partnership is in the works for these awards.
We are excited for this new beginning, and we're looking forward to
honoring Maine's finest authors and illustrators in the coming years.

On behalf of the entire Lupine Award Committee,
Jessie
Chair, Lupine Committee
