Hello,  ME-Libbers!

Caldecott and Coretta Scott King-honored illustrator Daniel Minter has often said that he never set out to create children’s books, but by illustrating picture books he could carry on crucial conversations with children.

The Portland Public Library, the Beautiful Blackbird Festival, Greenhut Galleries, and I are furthering that conversation by sharing the original paintings from seven of Daniel’s recent picture books. 

Before the show closes on 12/31, I hope you can come by the exhibit and be a part of that conversation.
