I suspect this is hardly what you're recalling, and that the experts in this
group will, but Pound said in the Cantos, "Never lose your life in anger" [a
quote from the Analects?]; and also, "Neither mess with a man's politics or
his religion." Sorry if this doesn't help with your paper, but they're apt
sentiments nonetheless.
